    What are the needles used ?

    The needles used for acupuncture are extremely thin high grade needles. All our needles are single use - opened in front of you and disposed of after use.

    Does acupuncture pain?

    Acupuncture, surprisingly, is virtually painless. The needles are hardly felt in most sessions and even when they are felt it is usually as a very minimal prick sensation. They are easily tolerated by children and adults alike.

    How long is treatment needed?

    Acute cases can be offered relief within 15 days. For chronic conditions or general wellness, Acupuncture will be an ongoing treatment and the individual needs to get it done within fixed time intervals. It is similar to cleaning our home which is an ongoing process. The house remains clean with periodic and timely cleaning. Similarly our body can also be cleansed and kept free of diseases using acupuncture.

    What is Auricular Acupuncture?

    Ear is a very important organ to acu treatment. In fact the structure of our ear is directly compared to that of a baby in the womb of the mother.     It is a form of acupuncture where a small electric current is passed between a pair of acupuncture needles. It is very effective for treating pain.Electrical Stimulation helps to restart the flow of energy. It also helps to relieve pain.

    What is Moxa?

    Moxa is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant material called Artimesia vulgaris (moxa) is burned and shown over the acu point to remove pain and clear energy blockages
